Visit Cuba to fish for Marlin and Sailfish

April, May and June seem to be best for the white marlin and sailfish. July, August, September and October are best for the blue marlin.

The Gulf Stream comes right in front of Havana making Cuba one of the world's top destinations for bill-fishing if you know exactly when to go. We think we know. Cuba Travel U.S.A. actually promoted the first Ernest Hemingway International Marlin Tournament. There are a number of locations in Cuba where one can fish for the marlin or sailfish....but none are more famous than the Ernest Hemingway Marina. Cuba Travel U.S.A. has been taking American fishermen and hunters to Cuba since 1977. We know all the secrets. As a matter of fact....we invented most of them.

Many Americans like to visit the Hemingway Marina as a group (minimum of six) and here is how our "Cuban Marlin & Sailfish" program works:

Day 1....arrive in Havana at the Jose Marti International Airport where a Cuba Travel U.S.A. representative and a Cuban interpreter will meet you and stay with you for the remainder of your week long trip. Go directly to Marina Hemingway. Enjoy your first night in Cuba with a get acquainted dinner at the famous Papa's Restaurant.

Days 2-7.... Fish morning and afternoon for these six days. Enjoy a farewell dinner the last night at Havana's best Italian Restaurant only a few hundred yards from your hotel room.

Day 8....After a tour of Colonial Havana, your trip ends at the Jose Marti International Airport for your flight back home. *Numerous options are available including scuba diving, golf, tennis, night-clubbing, etc. Price: $2195 per person (double occupancy). Single supplement is $225.

*Prices sometimes can vary depending upon the number of people and the size of the boat.
