Beltran de Santa Cruz - Old Havana
A big, elegant house from the 18th century, located very near La Plaza Vieja. The house has relatively recently opened as a cozy hotel, where the combination of modern and old architectural elements stresses the originality of its attractive design.
This noble house, built by Gabriel Beltrán de Santa Cruz’s parents, the first San Juan de Jaruco Count, later belonged to the distinguished Cárdenas de Monte Hermoso Marquis’ descendants.
The most illustrious visitors to the city gathered in this house: Alexander Von Humboldt Baron; eminent German scientist, and three French princes, the Beaujolais Count, the Montpensier and the Orleáns Duke later became King Philip I of France.
The Beltrán de Santa Cruz hotel, an exquisite place that is reborn in the old city, will leave indelible memories on you.
